| Fort Rickey has a thirty-five year history of providing the best in summer family fun to Central New York families. Now, we are expanding our season to include a Fall Fun Festival. As always, the emphasis will be on families, children and healthy, outdoor fun. We are offering pumpkin painting, wagon rides, a hay bale maze, oat-filled activity center, weaving demonstrations, pony rides, a petting corral, wolf shows and the World Famous, Mrs. Lumpkin, the Talking Pumpkin. |
The gift shop has been converted into a fall harvest market selling beautiful pumpkins, scarecrows, baked goods, fudge, Indian corn and harvest decorations The new Fall Fun Festival at fort Rickey is open to the public weekends in the fall, (including Columbus Day), from 10 to 4, starting Sept. 22nd and continuing through October 28th. Admission is $4.00 per person with children under two admitted free of charge. Each child receives one free mini pumpkin, with paid admission, for painting at the painting table. Pony rides and wagon rides are available for $2.00 each. Group packages are also available. |
