Fort Rickey has a thirty-five year history of providing the best in summer family fun to Central New York families. Now, we are expanding our season to include a Fall Fun Festival. As always, the emphasis will be on families, children and healthy, outdoor fun.
We are offering pumpkin painting, wagon rides, a hay bale maze, oat-filled activity center, weaving demonstrations, pony rides, a petting corral, wolf shows and the World Famous, Mrs. Lumpkin, the Talking Pumpkin.
The gift shop has been converted into a fall harvest market selling beautiful pumpkins, scarecrows, baked goods, fudge, Indian corn and harvest decorations
Pedal tractors are available for the children to ride around the festival and the concession stand offers all the usual harvest goodies, including: cider, donuts, chili, cocoa and pies.
The Fall Fun Festival is open to the general public weekends only, including Columbus Day. The Festival begins on Saturday, September 26th and runs through Sunday, Nov. 1st. from 10am until 4:30pm.
Admission is $4.50 per person with children UNDER TWO admitted free. The summer FREE CHILD PASS does not apply to the Fall Fun Festival because it already has a reduced rate.
Each child receives a free mini pumpkin with their paid admission to decorate at our pumpkin decorating table. Pony Rides and Wagon Rides are $2.50 per person. Group packages are also available.
